Simextra Duty-Free is located in the Arrival and Departure’s terminal of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport and is part of the Simextra Group. This group includes Simextra International N.V., operating in Suriname, and Simextra Trading Ltd., operating in Guyana. In 2013, the Simextra Group opened its first Duty Free Shop at the ferry connection between Suriname and Guyana. The Simextra Group is a family-owned wholesale company and was founded in 1994 by Mr. K. Soekhoe. Simextra has a huge variety of alcoholic beverages at competitive prices.
