Your negative PCR test, must not exceed seven days. However, if your test is within 1 – 3 days, you will not be required to do another test upon arrival. But, if your test was done within 4-7 days of travel, you will be retested upon arrival in Guyana. A cost of US$85 or GYD$16,000 will be payable upon arrival to Guyana. This will be paid by the passenger.
All persons, above the age of two years old, are required to be tested for COVID-19, when travelling to Guyana.
You are required to self-isolate for two weeks in a suitable home, hotel or a Government Isolation Facility until you are cleared by the Ministry of Health.
Children, under 2 years of age, are not required to wear a face mask to travel.
Effective February 1, 2017, Departure Tax is included in the ticket. The Departure Tax is $6000 GYD, 30 USD
Children seven (7) years of age and over are required to pay departure tax.
Phone cards are available at the Telephone Service Providers located at the arrivals area.
CJIA authorized taxi service is located in the arrivals' area. The fares to various destinations can be accessed on the website.
Kindly liaise with the airlines' duty officers or the Airport's Duty Office to acquire passenger information.
